To ensure complete protection, apply Sealing Mastic for Fibre Closure KCMFD (tape form) by removing the liner and wrapping the KCMFD around the junction where the outer jacket of the optical or telecom cable meets the splice closure. Then, use Sealing Mastic for Fibre Closure KCMFT (strip form), embed the KCMFT into the grooves to seal the splice closure. Finish by securing and tightening the closure.
